Bio
Penny is a passionate advocate for neurodiversity, bringing both personal and professional expertise to her role as a specialist in this field. As a Professional Member of the Positive Psychology Guild, she is committed to advancing understanding and inclusion for neurodivergent individuals in various settings.
Penny holds a Level 3 Certificate in Neurodiversity & Inclusion, along with a Train the Trainer qualification, which she completed with Distinction. Her dedication to specialised education is further demonstrated by her advanced studies through the University of Winchester, where she completed courses on ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder), including “An Introduction to Diagnosis & Management” and “How to Support Patients with ARFID with Limited Resources.”
Additionally, Penny is a certified Trauma Recovery Model Practitioner and recently earned her Advanced Diploma in Eating Disorders, Disordered Eating & Neurodiversity. Her comprehensive training equips her to provide high-quality, evidence-based training solutions that cater to the unique needs of neurodivergent individuals.
Penny is now training to be a Positive Psychology Practitioner and is looking forward to be able to work in this field in the future.
Proudly autistic, Penny draws on her lived experience and deep empathy to inform her work. She is also a full-time carer for her adult daughter, who is multiply neurodivergent. This personal connection fuels Penny’s unwavering passion for amplifying the authentic neurodivergent voice and breaking down harmful stereotypes.
