The Positive Psychology Guild (PPG) runs a professional membership service for Positive Psychology Practitioners and Students, and other professionals who integrate Positive Psychology approaches into their work.

The purpose of this membership service is to:

  • Create a positive online community for practitioners and students;
  • Provide liability and insurance coverage to qualified practitioners (UK & Europe);
  • Develop a Register of Positive Psychology Practitioners who are qualified and insured to practice;
  • Contribute to the development of best practices through member and other stakeholder engagement.

The membership service also aims to support the training and development of practitioners through:

  • Sharing information about PPG-accredited CPD training courses and events;
  • Facilitating professional development for members by providing access to peer support, learning and networking through online spaces for communication. This includes access to Communities of Practice led by qualified practitioners and a peer exchange process.

Practitioner Members

Practitioner members are fellow, professional, and associate members who are practicing Positive Psychology.

Your annual fee covers the application to join the Register of Positive Psychology Professionals and it includes insurance if you practice within the UK or Europe.

You may apply to join a PPG-approved Community of Practice, however please note a separate fee may be charged by the community facilitator for regular meet-ups.

You may also chose to apply to participate in a Peer Review Process. This facilitates Practitioner Members reviewing and reflecting on their practice with a similarly qualified practitioner in a co-coaching arrangement.
